Only a few days remaining until the start of the exiting NPSIG session at IFLA WLIC 2011 in Puerto Rico. With 47 participants already registered, there will be a lot of speed networking and a great discussion, I’m sure. Especially after the 13 presentations that lead us across the globe to discover the “skills, needs and strategies of a new generation of LIS professionals”. To be prepared for questions to ask and get to know the presenters a little bit you can read the abstracts of their presentations and have a look at their biographies. The full papers are also available for the curious mind.
We are delighted to welcome you all at the beutiful Island of Puerto Rico this year. So spread the word via Twitter with the hashtags #npsig2011 and #wlic2011 and facebook to let this gathering of New Professionals be as engaging as yoyful.
P.S. Don’t forget your two 50 cent coins for the bus ride to the NPSIG off-site session at the Madre María Teresa Guevara Library.
