IFLAcamp: All aboard!

The first IFLAcamp this year in Finland will truly be an international one. So far, 70 participants from all over the world have followed the call for “New Professionals Now!” to Hämeenlinna on 9-10 August 2012.

Some of them will take the road with the cycling for libraries gang (27), some will attend the WLIC 2012 congress afterwards (34), and, interestingly enough, some are vegetarians (17).

new segment: NPs around the world

Check out our new segment NPs around the world and get inspired by the activities of all of these groups!

New Professionals are great networkers and community builders. This has already lead to a large number of groups for and by new librarians around the globe. We compiled a list of initiatives for you to get an overview on what is happening in different countries and areas of the world. If you know about a group that is not indicated here, please let us know via comment or email, so the list can be updated.
